Here is a new game that we have been finding very challenging and enlightening at the same time.
http://kyyhkynen.net/stuff/diggtris/
The game play is very similar to the traditional Tetris. Just use the left and right buttons on your keyboard to move the falling piece left or right, the down button speeds up the fall. If you want to rotate the piece press the up button. Also the spacebar will bring the piece immediately to the bottom.
How is this any different than normal Tetris?
Well, each piece is color coded according to topics of news stories that have appeared on Digg.com. The size of the piece is also directly related to the popularity of the story it is associated with. Regular Tetris only had pieces made of four squares, I've experienced pieces in this game consisting of up to 7 squares. They may get bigger.
If you get tired of playing the game you can click on the title of the news stories themselves and start reading. If anyone finds out how to pause this game please post a comment.
